UK Care provides an Appropriate Adult Service across the country. We can provide Appropriate adults for detained suspects or voluntary interviews wherever they may be required and support the young person and Local Authority in time of crisis. Our fully trained staff can support any investigations under caution.

Our Team Members will provide the support required for a young person, in line with Local Authority Guidance to ensure that a young person is safeguarded in their rights, entitlements and welfare whilst in police custody.

We will ensure that any young person is given the fair and appropriate treatment required whilst detained or being questioned by police officers

We undertake work on behalf of Youth Offending teams, Police and Social Service Departments.

 In the event of a 72 Hour Director’s Order is being in place UK Care will provide the care support workers until the order is up.

To follow on from this Service UK Care can also provide a crisis emergency placement to accomodate the young person once released from custody

All our Support Carers are screened and vetted to BS7858 providing piece of mind about the integrity and quality of our carers. All venues and activities are risk assessed along with site instruction packs for the young person.
